QUILTERS RETREAT/REUNION

In an effort to give former WQI members and other quilters an opportunity to come together to enjoy each other's company and spend some time quilting, we are offering a 2 1/2 day retreat at Covenant Harbor Retreat and Bible Camp

Covenant Harbor is located on the shores of Geneva Lake in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. The atmosphere here is tranquil. There is a public path that follows the shoreline for it's entire 20 plus miles. It is a great place to take a walk or just sit near the shore and meditate. The sunsets can be breathtaking.
The food here is second to none. The rooms are comfortable hotel style rooms with a private bath.
It's a great place to come before the summer gets into full swing and your projects take a back seat to your summer activities.

Is there a way to either tone down the background or make the type brighter for those of us with older eyes? Since I love color I would favor making all type bold.

Just fyi - I taught at the first retreat at this location in Lake Geneva, and it is a terrific place, food wonderful, great way to get away and quilt. Hope many of you can attend!
ReplyDeleteJust a thought for the upcoming retreat. Since we won't have any teachers perhaps we could have a "theme". For instance, we could all make log cabin quilts in our own style. We'd all be able to do our own thing but have a common thread.
ReplyDeleteLinda Muntean and I have done that before, Jan. We went to a retreat in Indiana a few times where most of the attendees worked from the same pattern. It was great fun to see the different colorways. There were some quilters who chose to work on a project of their own. It all worked really well.
